Cost includes three days of classes and lodging. Supplies and food not included. Take classes during the day and open sewing in the evening.
Day 1 - Master Your Stripology Rulers, with Sandy
Learn how to use your Stripology rulers to the best of your ability for every quilt. Sandy will guide you in cutting strips, triangles and even flying geese. Learn how to cut accurately and fast. Bring all your stripology rulers to see when is the best time to use each. Our Day 1 Class will lead you in success and preparing your cuts for your next two days of classes. Sandy is a certified Stripologist.
Day 2 - Curve It Up, with Ellen
Fear curves no more with the Sew Kind of Wonderful method of piecing curves. No pinning required and accurate curves every time. The Posh Sunflower pattern will teach you multiple curve types all in one wall hanging. Ellen is a certified Sew Kind of Wonderful instructor and is addicted to curves. Soon you will be too once you see how easy they actually are.
Day 3 - Let's Twist Again, with MK
Quilting techniques from the past come back around and this time it is the Twister. MK has re-fallen in love with the Twister tools and taking blocks to 'twist' into new patterns. Work on the lap size of Twister Knot to learn the technique in this quilt. Twister doesn't have a certification program, but be sure to know MK would be if it had one.
Tools and Supplies:
Your confirmation email will have a downloadable supply list. It will have a link for a FORM to please reserve your supplies for the classes. All reservations will be paid on site at the class in Georgia and brought to you. Reservations will be given a generous discount at the class. Companions patterns and supplies will also be available to purchase at class.
No refunds given on class registrations within 7 days of class start date, unless cancelled by MK Quilts. Every student must have their own copy of the pattern/book and ruler for class due to copyright laws.
